A bar promotion with a working brief.
Contemporaneous correspondence identifies Studio Movie Grill Downey, Bar Manager Guillermo Flores and a paid Bills and Diamonds design relationship. The request moved through weekly specials, beer concepts, “beer mates,” happy hour and a flight map.

Build the direction without inventing a version log.
The surviving export family pairs front/back, landscape/vertical and blue/white directions. The board below is an authored public-safe process surface: it communicates multiple design directions without presenting any one export as “version 1,” “version 2” or “final.”

03THE REVISION
REQUEST → RESPONSE
Specials, mates, happy hour.
The correspondence records ordinary client iteration: weekly specials were requested to replace earlier beer-focused content, and the beer-mate direction was explored further. Happy-hour and flight-map language developed through that revision process.

A positively approved direction.
The revised direction was positively approved by the SMG Downey bar manager. The contemporaneous response described the work as “spot on”; the exhibit uses that short historical phrase only as process evidence and withholds private correspondence details.

05THE DELIVERY
A finished set, preserved in fragments.
The Gmail record names `SMGDOWNEY_flight_map_happy_hour.zip` and `SMGDOWNEY_extras.zip` as delivered archive attachments. Those exact containers are not present in the current local recovery tree. The artwork exports remain preserved across older archive and Google Drive lineages, while the attachment record supplies primary delivery provenance.

Commercial design, from brief to handoff.
The evidence supports describing Eli Coleman’s contribution as concept, graphic design, promotional design, revision / production and client delivery. Bills and Diamonds is the commercial design identity in the proposal and invoice record.
This distinction keeps the 2019 paid engagement separate from the employee-created motion experiments in Exhibits 001 and 002.
